Suspect steals donation jar for needy family from Dover library

DOVER, Ohio- Police and library officials in Dover are asking for help identifying the man who stole a donation jar Monday evening.

The man was caught on surveillance video at the Dover Public Library taking the jar, which contained more than $1,000. The library said he ran out the back door on the building on North Walnut Street, down the alley and toward downtown.

According to the Dover Public Library, the staff started collecting money for a family in need in January so they would be able help around Christmas time.
