Police arrest suspect in attempted luring of 12-year-old Strongsville girl

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio- Strongsville police made an arrest after a 12-year-old girl says a man tried to get her into his van.

The incident happened on Sept. 16 in the area of Kylemore Drive and Waterford Parkway.

Police arrested 46-year-old Joseph A. Koehler, of Cleveland and charged him with criminal child enticement.

Strongsville police said a man asked the girl to get into his van, which had cardboard covering the windows, to help him find an address. The 12-year-old refused and told a neighbor, who called police.

Koehler appeared in Berea Municipal Court Wednesday morning and pleaded not guilty.
