CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown has been cleared to return to the field and will start in Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders.
Coach Mike Pettine made the announcement Wednesday morning.
McCown had been injured at the end of Cleveland’s first offensive series of the season.
Johnny Manziel started in Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans.
McCown will be on the practice field Wednesday afternoon when the Browns begin their on-field preparations for the Raiders.
