Cleveland police searching for masked bank robber

CLEVELAND – Police are searching for the suspect of a bank robbery that took place in Cleveland Friday morning.

The robbery happened just after 9 a.m. at the U.S. Bank located on Harvard Avenue in Cleveland.

The suspect entered the bank wearing a black mask, grey hoodie, dark pants and white shoes. He gave notes to two separate tellers and both complied.

The suspect was described as being between 5’6″-5’9″ and approximately 160 pounds. His race is unknown. Witnesses indicated the suspect has a deeper male voice. The suspect took off to the west.

The Cleveland Division of Police and the FBI are asking the public for assistance in identifying this individual. Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the person responsible.
