Two indicted in drive-by shooting death of 5-year-old Cleveland boy

CLEVELAND - Two men have been indicted on charges following the death of 5-year-old Ramon Burnett in Cleveland on September 4.

Dontavious Williams was indicted on Wednesday on a charge of having weapons while under disability. Marlon Hackett Jr. was indicted on a charge of murder, two counts of felonious assault, discharging a firearm near prohibited premises, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and having weapons while under disability.

Bond was set at 1-million dollars each for Williams and Marlon Hackett, Jr. They were charged with aggravated murder at their previous court appearance last week. Both plead not guilty.

According to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, the investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected.

Ramon was struck and killed by a bullet after a gun battle between the two men took place on Louise Harris Court, according to court documents.

He was playing outside his home when he was shot.
