CLEVELAND – A little rain couldn’t wash away a sea of pink Saturday morning as the 22nd annual Susan G. Komen Northeast Ohio Cleveland Race for the Cure stepped off.

Hundreds of breast cancer survivors, family members and supporters gathered on Malls B and C downtown to walk and run to raise money for community breast health programs and research. In addition to the 5k run and 1-mile walk,  events included a Survivor Ceremony, a Kids Dash and an after party.

Komen Northeast Ohio has invested nearly $15 million in community breast health programs in its 22-county region here in  Northeast Ohio.
