CLEVELAND- Despite the rain and chilly temperatures, a crowd gathered in the Flats for the Sea of Blue and the Northeast Ohio Fallen Heroes Fund rally.

The event was held at the Nautica Stage and doors opened at 6 p.m.

"This is a great event for the entire community," said Steve Loomis, president of the police union.

Proceeds from the event will help injured emergency workers. It will also be used to help feed and buy clothes for the homeless.

Cash prizes and raffles were held during the event.

Retired Cleveland Police Officer Sgt. Brian Miller, who is also a balloon artist, made balloon creations for children.
