CLEVELAND-  The Sea of Blue and the Northeast Ohio Fallen Heroes Fund are hoping the community will come out this Saturday and enjoy live music and food.

The first Safety Forces Appreciation music rally will be held this Saturday at the Nautica Stage.  Doors open at 6 and there will be five musical acts- including the band ‘My Manic Episode.’

Tickets are $5. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.  Proceeds from the event will go to help injured emergency  workers, and will also be used to help feed and buy clothes for the homeless.

Mary Jo Graves, who started the Sea of Blue, says she began the organization to have a rally but now it has grown.

“I’m on a journey to make a difference,” Graves said. “We want to help as many people as we can.”  Cash prizes and raffles will also be held during the event.

And Cleveland Police Officer Sgt. Brian Miller, who is also a balloon artist, will be at the event making balloon creations for children.
