Man claims to have bomb during Cleveland bank robbery

CLEVELAND- A man robbed a bank on Cleveland’s east side Wednesday afternoon by claiming he had a bomb, the Cleveland Office of the FBI said.

It happened at the Huntington Bank on East 185th Street just after 3 p.m.

According to the FBI, the suspect gave a note to a teller that said he wanted money and had a bomb. The man, who had dreadlocks and wore an orange hat, got away with cash.

No bomb was seen and no one was injured.

Anyone with information on this robbery should call the Cleveland Office of the FBI or Cleveland police. Tips can remain anonymous and reward money is available.
