I-Team: Wife of Cleveland firefighter paid to have husband murdered officials say

CLEVELAND-The wife of a Cleveland firefighter has been charged with aggravated murder.

Court papers just filed show Uloma Walker-Curry hired guys to kill her husband.

Walker, 45, was ambushed as he arrived at his Lampson Drive home on Nov. 3, 2013. He had been well-respected in his job and no one could understand why he would be murdered.

Several weeks ago, police charged a man named Chad Padgett with the murder.

Prosecutors described the crime as a hit and said Padgett received text messages to kill Walker.Both suspects have been charged with aggravated murder.
