HOLLYWOOD, CA – Feel like hanging out with the “Rugrats”? How about watching someone get slimed on “You Can’t Do That on Television”? You may be able to at some point in the future as Nickelodeon considers bringing back some of its classic children’s television series.
Russell Hicks, president of content and development at Nickelodeon, told Variety that the network might revive shows such as “Rugrats,” “You Can’t Do That on Television,” “Victorious” and “Hey Arnold!” The reason? The generation that grew up on those shows now have kids of their own and they want the shows back for their children.
“We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way,” Hicks said.
