GWINNETT COUNTY, Georgia – Two Georgia brothers are in custody after police say they attempted to kill their parents and possibly burn their house down.

According to WSB, Yvonne Ervin called 911 to report that her sons Cameron, 17, and Christopher, 22, were trying to kill her and her husband.

Yvonne said her husband was distracting the boys while she called police.

Her husband, Zachary, was bleeding heavily when police arrived to their Gwinnett County home.

The home’s gas line had also been tampered with and police believe the sons were going to try and burn the house down.

Neighbors say the family appeared happy and normal in the four years they lived there.

At this time, Cameron and Christopher Ervin are charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of first-degree arson.
