BRUNSWICK – Vivian is 4, but when she was much younger her family found out she would most likely not make it to kindergarten.

Vivian has an unrepaired, complex form of heart disease which is being treated at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital.

Her family says whenever Vivian sees a school bus, she wants to ride it, but her doctors say it is too risky for her health.

Thanks to A Special Wish, an organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening diseases, Vivian got her wish.

Brunswick Superintendent, Mike Mayell, jumped at the opportunity to make this happen.

Mayell and A Special Wish escorted a school bus to Vivian’s house.

Vivian got to ride on a school bus with her family and went to Chuck E. Cheese in Parma, where they had the entire place to themselves.
