Legacy Village reopens after gas leak

LYNDHURST, Ohio- Eighteen stores at Legacy Village were evacuated because of a gas leak Monday afternoon.

Crews hit the gas line at about 1:30 p.m. while working on the new hotel, Legacy Village spokeswoman Susan Windle said. The affected businesses include Dick's Sporting Good, Pier 1, Charles Schwab, Melting Pot and the Legacy Village management offices.

The scene was cleared and the stores were back open shortly before 4 p.m.
