Endangered Missing Child Alert canceled: 12-year-old boy found safe in Massillon

MASSILLON, Ohio– Authorities issued an Endangered Missing Child Alert for 12-year-old Daniel James Horvath on Friday; but, at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, he was found safe and unharmed in Massillon, according to Perry Township police.

The child’s mother reported him missing Friday. Perry Township police said Daniel was last seen heading west on Bailey St. in Massillon; he was wearing tan shorts, but no shirt or shoes.

Police pointed out that Daniel was drawn to parks and water. But, once again, he has been found safe.
