GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio- Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect in the murder of a 25-year-old Orrville man.

Witnesses told deputies Michael Amstutz, 25, and Larry “Casper” Finn, 19, were riding in a car together at about midnight on Wednesday. The driver stopped the vehicle to let the men out at Chippewa and Smucker roads in Green Township, and that’s when shots were fired.

Amstutz suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Aultman Orrville Hospital, where he died. According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the men were fighting over a woman who was also in the car.

Deputies arrested Finn at a relative’s home in Barberton. Another man was taken into custody for questioning, but was later released.

Wayne County Sheriff Travis Hutchinson said deputies, the Barberton Police Department and the Wayne County Coroner’s Office brought the alleged murderer to justice in less than eight hours.
