One shot at Cleveland’s Latino Festival

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police say someone fired shots into a large crowd attending the city’s Latino Festival, critically injuring one person.

The shooting occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The victim, an 18-year-old male, was shot in the back and was taken to Metro hospital in critical condition. The festival is being held in the Cleveland Municipal Parking lot this weekend.

No arrests have been made and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Third District investigators at 216-623-5318.
