Second suspect arrested in connection with Warrensville Heights Econo Lodge homicide

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio-- Police have now arrested both suspects who they say are connected to the death of 18-year-old Elizabeth Marie O’Brien at the Econo Lodge hotel on Northfield Road on Friday, July 17.

Octavius Hudson, 18, was arrested at his home on Wednesday, July 22 without incident.

Marcellus Lawrence Webster, 19, turned himself in to Warrensville Heights police Thursday afternoon.

“We would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance,” said Chief of Police Wesley Haynes. “Your cooperation aided us in bringing swift justice to Ms. O’Brien’s case.”

O’Brien was found dead in the hotel and both suspects were seen on surveillance video from that night.
