CLEVELAND -The middle of summer marks the time we start to get ready to Stuff The Bus.  We are very excited to kick off the 9th annual FOX 8 Stuff The Bus on Thursday, July 30 between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. right here in our front yard.

We are located at 5800 Dick Goddard Way in Cleveland.

Thanks to your generosity, last year we filled 12 ½ school buses.

That was a record year for us and a tremendous help to thousands of students.

All of our school supplies go to the Cleveland Kids In Need Organization.  Schools where most of the students are on the free lunch program can qualify to get free supplies.

All qualifying schools in Cuyahoga County are contacted by Cleveland Kids In Need and teachers can schedule an appointment to shop inside the warehouse for free.  The warehouse is set up like a store from all the donations that come in.  No money is exchanged.

Here is what we need:

  • 24 COUNT BOX OF CRAYONS
  • WIDE OR COLLEGE RULE FILLER PAPER OR NOTEBOOKS
  • 2 POCKET FOLDERS
  • NUMBER 2 PENCILS
  • CONSTRUCTION PAPER
  • 8 1/2 BY 11 COPY PAPER
  • COLORED MARKERS AND PENCILS
  • BLACK AND BLUE PENS
  • BOXES OF TISSUE

We will also take old letterhead or envelopes from old businesses.  It is amazing what teachers can use in the classroom.

Backpacks are also appreciated and we will take any type of school supply.

We are lucky to have our two main sponsors joining us again.  Great Clips and Hudec Dental are a big support in this campaign.
