LeBron James wins Best Championship Performance award at ESPYs

LOS ANGELES – The ESPY Awards were in Los Angeles Wednesday night and LeBron James was honored with the Best Championship Performance Award.

Despite the Cleveland Cavaliers losing the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors, LeBron had a standout performance, setting several records along the way.

LeBron beat out Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner, Triple Crown winner American Pharoah and Florida Gators softball player Lauren Haeger for the award.

LeBron said he was surprised he won, but proudly accepted and congratulated the Warriors on their Finals win.
