RICHLAND COUNTY, Ohio - The Fox8 News I-Team has obtained video shot inside a Richland County Commissioner's meeting where a gun went off last Thursday.

I-Team reporter Lorrie Taylor said it provides a disturbing view of what took place.  Some who witnessed the melee told her the Richland County Sheriff misrepresented what led up to the fight between two security officers and 58-year-old Michael Skidmore from Shelby, Ohio, who writes for an online paper.

Skidmore was accused of causing a disturbance and inappropriately touching the shoulder of a clerk while photographing her name badge.  He can be seen on the video assaulting two security officers after one grabbed the camera around his neck and pulled Skidmore to his feet.

A Mansfield blogger was inside the meeting. He posted the video on his website, Mansfieldersperspective.com, so that others could see for themselves what happened.

Skidmore is behind bars charged with felonious assault.
