The band confirmed his death, from a rare form of leukemia, on its Facebook page.

According to Rolling Stone, Squires revealed just about a month ago that he had the disease. Squire, born in London, was a founding member of Yes in 1968. He was the only musician to play on every one of their albums, from their self-titled 1969 debut to last year’s ‘Heaven & Earth.’
