BEREA – It’s been quiet for the Browns since the Cavaliers have been the talk of the town the last few weeks.

The Browns have been keeping busy on both sides of the ball, and they have a new offensive coordinator and a new quarterback in Josh McCown.

Danny Shelton, who the Browns selected in the first round of the 2015 Draft, has not been at OTA’s in Berea. He’s been finishing his degree in anthropology in Washington. He is set to graduate on June 14.

Coaches aren’t concerned about him missing practice because he’s a smart and quick learner.

Browns defensive line coach Anthony Weaver has been impressed with Shelton so far.

“He plays the game with a type of energy that you just can`t fake. He`s full speed. You see his size. You saw his 40 numbers at the Combine but he doesn`t play to that. He`s a guy that plays every snap like it`s his last play. Guys that play like that and are that big aren`t easy to come by so you love that about him,” Weaver said.

The Browns will have a team camp next week before breaking until mid-July.
