Video: Man wanted for early morning break-ins at Akron businesses

AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are searching for a man wanted for breaking out the front windows of two Akron businesses and then stealing several items.

It happened on June 6 around 5:45 a.m. The suspect first threw a rock through the front window of Bista Brother’s, 582 N. Main St. The suspect then entered and took several items, police say.

Later, the man is accused of kicking in the front window of Servi Express, 64 E. Cuyahoga Falls Ave., and stealing more items.

Both thefts were caught on surveillance video.

The suspect is described as being between 5’6″ and 5’9″ tall, weighing 160 to 180 pounds and wearing a backpack, dark dirty hoodie and khaki pants or jeans.
