In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar spoke about how they reacted when they found out about that their son Josh had molested some girls, including his sisters.

Josh was just 14 when the incident occurred, but the Duggar's said their first priority was making sure Josh and all of their daughters, including Jessa and Jill, were okay.

Jessa said what her brother did was "very wrong" but went to say, "I do want to speak up in his defense against people who are calling him a child molester or a pedophile or a rapist, some people are saying. I’m like, that is so overboard and a lie really, I mean people get mad at me for saying that but I can say this because I was one of the victims."

In an statement made to People a few weeks back, Josh Duggar said:

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

An interview with Jessa and Jill will air on Friday night.
