ELYRIA - Mary Dallas has been buried at Brookdale Cemetary since her husband killed her in 1993.

Marvin Dallas pleaded no contest to a charge of involuntary manslaughter in 1993. He served 12 years in prison, before being released in 2005 over the objections of Mary's family.

Recently, Dallas' daughter, Crystal Denn, went to visit her mother and noticed new dirt above her mother's grave.

It turned out, Marvin Dallas' will said he should be buried on the same plot as his wife, despite the fact that he had killed her.

Her daughter says it was an insult to her mother's memory.

"I hope to get this taken care of as soon as possible because we're trudging through muddy waters right now, and I'm a little tired of trudging through those waters, it's been 22 years," said Denn.
