Victim assaulted, robbed after befriending group of men at McDonald’s

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Police are asking for help identifying a suspect wanted for reportedly assaulting and robbing a man he met at a McDonald’s.

Cleveland police say it happened on May 19 at the McDonald’s at 3211 Clark Ave.

Reports state that the victim befriended three other males while inside the restaurant. He agreed to go to the home of one of the males.

While on the way to that home on West 30th Street, police say the suspects picked the victim up and slammed him to the ground before punching and kicking him. They then took his wallet and ran.

One of the suspects was caught on surveillance video. Police ask that anyone who might recognize him call police at 216-623-5218.
