PHOENIX, Ariz.- One 11-year-old Arizona girl graduated high school and is on her way to taking college classes.

Ria Cheruvu’s mother said she knew at 9 months old that her daughter was special. By age 7, she was placed in accelerated online classes.

“The teachers, the principals, those are the people who guided me,” Sunitha Cheruvu, Ria’s mom, told KTVK.

Ria is the valedictorian of her online high school. But she has plenty of friends her age from the neighborhood, and activities like playing golf and piano.

“People ask me, like, how are you going to cope with kids you know, that are bigger than you? It’s just that, I just want to interact with brains that are just like mine and share my thoughts,” Ria said.

The young prodigy wants to study neurocryptography and hopes to earn her master’s degree by 15.

According to Harvard, she will be taking courses online this summer through the Harvard Extension School.

“We are not here to just live and to die. We are here to do something to the world. I want to fulfill my purpose and help the world with what I do,” Ria said.
