MEDINA- The FOX 8 I-Team reports, the Medina School Board has accepted a bus driver's resignation after a child was left alone on a special needs school bus.

Video showed Medina Public Schools bus driver, Diane Spanower, return to the district's transportation center after dropping off children at Eliza Northrup Elementary School.

Spanower didn't realize that a 4-year-old pre-school student was asleep in his seat.

Video showed her getting off the bus without checking for students before walking off and into the transportation office.

The little boy woke up and told his family he saw the keys were on the bus and he tried to start the bus to get someone's attention.

Thankfully, another bus driver saw him and immediately assisted the little boy.

Now his parents have a lot of questions regarding what happened.

FOX 8 I-Team Reporter Jack Shea has the story in the above video.
