KENT, Ohio– Linden Adkins, an assistant professor of computer systems at Kent State University, was charged with menacing after a road rage incident was caught on camera in early April.

According to Adkins, he was let go from the university today.

He told Fox 8 that he was supposed to meet with the university today, but did not. He was then contacted afterwards about his position with the school. When reached for comment, Kent State told Fox 8 that the university does not discuss personnel matters.

Adkins could be seen on camera confronting a driver, he then grabbed the windshield wiper before the driver pulls away.

Adkins told Fox 8 that the driver was texting and almost hit a female pedestrian, that is what sparked his reaction.
