SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KPHO) — One of the most unique homes in the country is up for sale.

The mansion is called the “Boulder House” and is located in North Scottsdale, Arizona.

The going price is $4.2 million.

The house was built right into 1.6 billion-year-old granite boulders, according to Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty.

Architect Charles Foreman Johnson designed the home in the early 1980s on nine acres of Sonoran desert.

The site was once used as an ancient encampment for Native American tribes.
