Portion of Ohio Turnpike reopened after multiple vehicle crash

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — A portion of the Ohio Turnpike eastbound was closed in Lorain County for several hours on Tuesday, due to a crash involving a car hauler and other vehicles.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday near mile post 137. One person was taken to the hospital.

Traffic was being diverted off the eastbound turnpike at exit 118.  The area was reopened before 4 p.m.
