BONITA SPRINGS, Florida – Residents are asking authorities to step in as sharks have been coming extremely close to their properties in recent days, according to NBC 2.
The shark is being identified as an 8-9 foot bull shark and it’s swimming close to a condominium community in the neighborhood.
Neighbors say people have thrown food in, encouraging the shark to return.
According to Florida law, regulation of fish is from the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Residents tell NBC 2 they won’t give up until something is done to protect their neighborhood.
