ARLINGTON, Virginia – ESPN reporter Britt McHenry has been suspended for a week, effective immediately, after an incident that occurred earlier this month.

McHenry was recently caught on camera berating an employee at the company that towed her car, according to Bleacher Report.

She is seen yelling at the employee, who even tells McHenry that she is on camera. She doesn’t hold back, telling the employee she has a brain and saying the employee does not. At one point, she even points out her job, telling the worker “I’m in the news sweetheart, I will f—--g sue this place.”

McHenry issued an apology on her Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things. As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.
