Akron police officer arrested, accused of stalking his former girlfriend

AKRON - An Akron police officer has been arrested after he allegedly stalked his former girlfriend and her new boyfriend.

Akron Police Sergeant Eric Paull was arraigned on charges of assault and menacing by stalking. He allegedly followed his former girlfriend and her new boyfriend, threatening them through texts and emails.

The victim told police Paull threatened to kill her, her boyfriend and himself.

After Paull's arraignment, his bond was set at $100,000 dollars and was ordered to wear an ankle bracelet for monitoring and he cannot contact his former girlfriend.
