LAKEWOOD – A woman accused an RTA police officer of assaulting her earlier this week. Jessica Ferrato, 39, claims the officer assaulted her.

Since the incident, the RTA police officer has been suspended while there is an investigation.

Ferrato said she showed the officer her pass, but he insisted she followed his commands.

Ferrato told Fox 8 she had a glass of champagne before the incident, but according to reports, the officer felt she was intoxicated.

According to the officer's citation, she was cited with disorderly conduct while intoxicated because "Ferrato was acting disorderly, using foul language and creating a risk of harm to others while being intoxicated."
