CLEVELAND-- The FOX 8 News I-Team has obtained exclusive video shot by a security camera outside The 9 on the night a 24-year-old parking valet was struck by an SUV that kept on going.

The hit-and-run accident happened around 6:00 on Saturday night, February 28.  The video showed Daniils Mamedovs delivering an SUV to a customer at East 9th and Euclid before being struck by a passing automobile.

Mamedovs' body could be seen hitting the hood of a 2008 Nissan Rogue.  Police told the I-Team, a 24-year-old woman, whom they've now identified, was behind the wheel.  She was reportedly traveling between 27 and 30 miles an hour.  It appeared in the surveillance video that she made no attempt to stop after hitting the valet.  Witnesses told police the woman drove over the valet’s body as it hit the pavement.

Mamedovs was rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center in serious condition.  He's recovering at home with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators told FOX 8 they found the Nissan parked at East 92nd and St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland.  Damage to the front passenger side of the hood revealed the exact spot where Mamedovs' body hit.

Misdemeanor charges are expected to be filed against the suspect.
