TORONTO, Canada- A flight suit once used on the International Space Station turned up at a Canadian thrift shop.

Dr. Julielynn Wong paid $40 for the suit that was worn by Canadian Space Agency Astronaut Chris Hadfield, who confirmed it was his.

“And my jaw just dropped. I said, ‘I can’t believe this.’ This flight suit looks just like the flight suit that he wears on the back of his book.”

Hadfield retired in 2013. The author of “An Astronaut’s Guide to Like on Earth” did not know how his space suit ended up at the thrift shop.
