Man in ski mask robs credit union at gunpoint

RITTMAN, Ohio — Police in Rittman are looking for the suspect who robbed a credit union at gunpoint Saturday.

Police say it happened at the Greater Wayne Community Federal Credit Union, 328 N. Main St., shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday.

A white male dressed in black and wearing a ski mask brandished a hand gun and demanded money from a teller. He left with an undisclosed amount of money and ran north. It is believed he got into a vehicle that was parked in the area.

The Rittman Police Department is continuing its investigation with the assistance of the FBI. Anyone with information is asked to call Rittman Police Department at 330-925-8040.
