LONDON, England- Google has swimming pools, Yahoo! has a game room and Facebook has interactive murals. And one design company in England is taking office creativity to a new level.
It may look like a quaint Victorian house, but inside Pearlfisher’s London office is a ball pit. The room, where the team holds daily meetings, is filled with more than 81,000 white, plastic balls.
“There has been a real desire for things like this in business because people like to talk and say they work in creative environments, but bean bags just doesn’t cut it anymore,” said senior creative strategist Jack Hart. “It’s about embracing a childlike mindset, and for me, letting off some steam.”
The company wants to promote creativity through the power of play.
