Statewide Amber Alert issued for 3-year-old girl

An Amber Alert has been extended to Ohio for a little girl last seen in New Castle, Delaware, at 7 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say the suspect, who is the little girl’s father, is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Elinor Trotta, 3, was last seen on 800 East Basin Road in the city of New Castle. She was last seen wearing a purple puffy coat, pink pants and ‘Frozen” sneakers. She’s described as being white and weighing 60 pounds with brown hair.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the suspect, Michael Trotta, is a white male with brown hair. He was last seen wearing all black clothing and is described as being 5’8″ tall and weighing 160 pounds.

Authorities say Elinor was taken during a domestic dispute. Authorities say Trotta has family residing in the Midwest, and he may be traveling through Ohio to relatives.
