CLEVELAND, Oh. - Cleveland police have ordered 1500 body cameras for all their officers.

200 cameras have been tested with some officers in recent months and are now expanding throughout the entire city.

Back in October 2014, Cleveland City Council passed the ordinance arming the city officers with the cameras. The target goal to start using the cameras was the beginning quarter of 2015 and is on track pending the delivery of the cameras.

Opinions on the use of cameras are mixed, as some think they could get in the way during emergency situations, or cause suspicion if they don't record during an incident.
