RICHFIELD, Ohio- The snowman missing from the Richfield Village holiday display was found in time for Christmas.

A service department employee reported the decorative snowman missing on Sunday. Richfield police said “Frosty” was recovered Tuesday morning with his corn-cob pipe and button nose intact.

He was found in the brush along the driveway of a new home construction site on Hawkins Road in Richfield. The snowman has been returned to the Christmas display at Broadview and West Streetsboro roads.

Richfield police said they would not take legal action if the snowman, valued at $750, was returned by Christmas Eve.
