SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — The National Kidney Foundation is offering free screenings as part of a special program.

Kidney screenings will be offered through the KEEP Healthy Program Tuesday, November 11, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Shaker Launchhouse.

Participants will be required to answer a brief health-risk survey prior to the screening and have their blood pressure, weight and height taken. The screenings will be conducted using ACR tests which identify protein in urine–an indicator of kidney disease.

Attendees will also be provided educational materials and medical professionals will be on hand to answer health questions.

To register for the KEEP Healthy Program, call the National Kidney Foundation at (440) 667 – 6334.
