Sheriff: Missing Bucyrus teen found safe in Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Ohio– A missing teen has been found safe in Mansfield.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says 15-year-old Rebecca “Beccy” Kemper hadn’t been seen since September 23 at the family’s home on Crestline Rd. in Bucyrus.

Beccy’s mother noticed that a window was open, and Beccy was not there.

The FBI and local authorities have been searching for her.

Today, authorities followed up on a lead. At around 4:05 p.m., FBI agents reported they had found Kemper at an apartment in Mansfield.

She will be reunited with her mother.

The sheriff’s office will continue to investigate.
