Police look for man, woman wanted for robbery, assault at Kohl’s

SPRINGFIELD TWP., Ohio- Authorities are searching for two suspects wanted for robbery and assault.

According to Springfield Township police, officers responded to the Kohl’s department store on Arlington Rd. today for a report of a robbery and a person struck by a vehicle.

They say the investigation shows that the store loss prevention officers tried to stop two shoplifters; there was a struggle where store employees were assaulted as the suspects ran to their car.

Police say as the suspects were driving way, their car swerved in the direction of one of the loss prevention officers, hitting him.

That person was taken to Akron City Hospital where he was treated and released.

Officers say the suspects have been identified as Jon Daniel McCormick, 24, and Paige McCormick, 21, both of Canton.

The suspects face aggravated robbery and felonious assault charges.

They were last seen in a green vehicle with license number EVF-8458.
