All lanes of I-71S at I-480 split open after crash

BROOK PARK, Ohio — All lanes of Interstate 71 southbound have reopened after a crash near the I-480 split in Brook Park.

Around 6:15 p.m., a disabled vehicle was stopped on I-71 southbound when it was hit from behind by another vehicle. Two people — one from each vehicle — were taken to local hospitals with injuries.

Interstate 71 southbound was closed between I-480 and Snow Road near mile marker 238 for hours.

As of 11 p.m., authorities said the crash was cleaned up, and all lanes were reopened.
