CLEVELAND-- Amy's Adoptables is a non-profit dog rescue organization.

It was founded by Amy Beam, who works to find permanent homes for dogs in need.

Amy visited the Fox 8 studios, along with Jenny Wenger to talk about a fundraiser for Amy's Adoptables.

Wenger adopted two dogs from Amy's Adoptables, and decided to hold an event to raise money for Amy's organization.

The fundraiser is at Plank Road Tavern in Lakewood from 5 p.m until 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th.

Plank Road Tavern is located at 16719 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107.

Wristbands are available at the door for $20 and include unlimited domestic beer, wine, well liquor, and a food buffet of wings, pizza, sliders and more.

All of the proceeds benefit the health and well-being of the dogs.
