Snapshot of compassion: Deserted cats find friend in war-ravaged neighborhood

Despite his war-ravaged surroundings, one man in a Syrian town takes time every single day to take care of the cats left behind in his neighborhood.

According to Reuters, the man is an ambulance driver, and spends $4 a day on meat to feed about 150 cats that have been abandoned by their owners who left their homes due to the violence.

He’s been feeding and taking care of the cats for more than two months.
