YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — He was one of the most colorful and controversial politicians in America.

James A. Traficant, Jr.,73, passed away Saturday after being injured in a farming accident on Sept. 23.

Traficant served nearly 18 years in Congress, beginning in 1985 and ending in disgrace in 2002. In addition to the scandals that marred his public service, Traficant will also be remembered for his colorful style and language.
